JULY WRAP UP

 πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“

This month has been a great reading month! I read a total of 6 books (and a half). Most importantly, I loved every single one of them. On this blog post, I will give you a brief review of each book and my rating (out of 5 stars). Happy reading! πŸ“š

Always and Forever Lara Jean : This is the third book in the To All The Boys I Loved Before trilogy, by Jenny Han. This was super adorable! It was fluffy, sweet, it’s really the best summer series! This girl is also obsessed with cookies, which is so relatable! Summer isn’t over yet, so you still have time to pick it up! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Sun and Her Flowers : This is the most recent poetry novel by Rupi Kaur. It’s simply beautiful. This book made me want to read more poetry, which I never thought would happen! It’s really heartbreaking at some places, but also very uplifting! It made me feel powerful as a woman. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Shadow And Bone : The first book in the Grishaverse trilogy, by Leigh Bardugo, was AMAZING. I usually don’t like fantasy novels that much, but with this one I was hooked. I can’t wait to continue on with the trilogy, and then read her duology. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Milk and Honey : This is another poetry novel by Rupi Kaur. I just needed to read more of her work! This one was beautifully written as well. Made me feel lots of different emotions, bad and good ones. Definitely a book you need to check out if you like deep and meaningfull stuff! 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5

Were We Liars : This is a book by E. Lockhart. Holy crap were the only two words that could come out of my mouth after finishing it! This was so HEARTBREAKING. You need to read this book! It’s a full rollercoaster ride of emotions, that will leave you speechless. It’s also a very short read so GO GO GO! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Breaking Faith : This was my first time reading a book from E. Graziani, and it did not disapoint! I loved every single bit of it. In this book, you’ll see the heartbreaking downfall of a young teen. This book felt very real, and it was pretty emotionnal! I suggest you check it out soon! It’s simple amazing. 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5

The Upside Of Unrequired : Okay, I added this one before I have about 100 pages left, and I don’t think my opinion will change in those pages! I LOVE THIS BOOK. It’s so freakin relatable, and it’s also hilarious. I love the storyline, it’s very sweet and fluffy. It’s exactly the kind of contemporary I love. ALSO, it takes place in the SIMONVERSE, which I did not know! I can’t wait to finish it and read more of Becky Albertalli’s works! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My goal for the month of August is to read 8 books. This means two books a week, while trying to balance a summer class, moving, repping, and work! Will I be able to do it? We’ll know in the AUGUST WRAP UP!

How many books did you read in July? Which one was your favorite? Let me know in the comments OR dm me on my instagram!

Thank you for reading, I love you all! ☀
