Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - Spoiler Free Review!
Hello everyone! I recently finished Shadow And Bone by Leigh Bardugo and I am so excited to write a review about it! Here it goes... 💥
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (so freaking amazing guys)
Synopsis: Surrounded by enemies, the once-great nation of Ravka has been torn in two by the Shadow Fold, a swath of near impenetrable darkness crawling with monsters who feast on human flesh. Now its fate may rest on the shoulders of one lonely refugee. Alina Starkov has never been good at anything. But when her regiment is attacked on the Fold and her best friend is brutally injured, Alina reveals a dormant power that saves his life—a power that could be the key to setting her war-ravaged country free. Wrenched from everything she knows, Alina is whisked away to the royal court to be trained as a member of the Grisha, the magical elite led by the mysterious Darkling. Yet nothing in this lavish world is what it seems. With darkness looming and an entire kingdom depending on her untamed power, Alina will have to confront the secrets of the Grisha . . . and the secrets of her heart. 🙊
Personal review: I HAVE NO WORDS. I don't know why I waited so long to read this! It was completely amazing, full of action, fast-paced and very intriguing! I couldn't stop reading it. I really enjoyed Alina's talking. Like she just says what comes in her head, and I love it. She's also very strong and brave. I love the friendship between Mal and Alina, aswell as the friendship between Alina and Genya! She's so sweet and funny. I feel like if I say too much here, I'm going to spoil it but overall, I really really really loved this book and I cannot wait to read the rest of the trilogy! 💫
What I liked the most about this book: Honestly, the cover is pretty amazing! 😂
Other books by Leigh Bardugo you should read: Well, I haven't read her other books, but I hear they are all amazing! So like Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom! 😀
Thank you reading, as always! 💙
