Favorite series of all time!

Hi! So a lovely bookstagrammer (@meetmeatthelamppost_) requested a "Favorite Series Of All Time" blog post! So here it goes. I'm going to name three series that will be forever favorites. If you read this and you'd like to share YOUR top 3, then go ahead in the comments! Happy reading 😋

 In third position, we have... (drum roll please...): THE HUNGER GAMES! I read this series back in EIGHT GRADE. That's like 6 years ago! It was extremely good when I first read them, and just as good when I reread them. These books were part of the firsts books I actually read and enjoyed. I was also obsessed with the movies and Josh Hutcherson (still am LOL), and I used to watch behide the scenes clips. I would also buy book companions like magazines or unofficial books. Gosh, those were the good old days. 😜

In second position we have... (more drum roll please...): PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS! You guys do not know how much I love Rick Riordan. Like. Holycrap. I read Percy Jackson in eight grade as well, but before The Hunger Games. These books made me want to read more, and that's why I went and read The Hunger Games. Man, Percy Jackson was my bae. I absolutely love the first book, I think it's my favorite of the series, with The Battle Of The Labyrinth as a close second. Rick Riordan is funny and has THE BEST chapter names. I'm telling you. 😂

In first position we have... (get me a whole arena of people doing drum rolls please...) HARRY POTTER! I absolutely love Harry Potter. More than anything. I have a confession though! I only read the whole series two years ago. I was a huge movie fan at first. I knew all the lines by heart, new all the songs on the piano, I LIVED for the Universal Studios attraction. I cried everytime I saw a trailer. Like, I was OBSESSED. It made me happy all the time, and it my magical safe place. THEN, the movies were over, and I didn't know what to do. I kept watching them on DVD, and watched bloopers. I bought picture books of Harry Potter (i have one that is worth 100$ smh). I finally decided to jump into the book series after putting it aside for so long! Maybe it's because I was scared it wasn't as good as the movies (because at that time, the movies were the best thing in the world). But finally, I read them, and OH MY GOSH. They are A LOT better. I regret not reading the sooner, but at least I got a part of obsessing over the movies, and then obsessing over the books. Now I'm at the state of obsessing over both! 😍

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur - Spoiler Free Review

Hello lovelies! Here I am with another book review, of course! 🙆 I read another poem novel from the wonderful Rupi Kaur, and I absolutely loved it! Keep reading to read my full opinion❗ Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5  Synopsis:  milk and honey  is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. It is about the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. It is split into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose, deals with a different pain, heals a different heartache.  milk and honey  takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look. 🐝🍯 Personal review: I freaking loved this so much! Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills - Spoiler free review

I finished Foolish Hearts during the weekend and now it's time to talk about it! Happy reading. 😋 Rating : 🟃🟃🟃🟃⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 Synopsis :  The day of the last party of the summer, Claudia overhears a conversation she wasn't supposed to. Now on the wrong side of one of the meanest girls in school, Claudia doesn't know what to expect when the two are paired up to write a paper—let alone when they're both forced to try out for the school production of  A Midsummer Night's Dream.  But mandatory participation has its upsides—namely, an unexpected friendship, a boy band obsession, and a guy with the best dimpled smile Claudia's ever seen.
