Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur - Spoiler Free Review

Hello lovelies! Here I am with another book review, of course! 🙆 I read another poem novel from the wonderful Rupi Kaur, and I absolutely loved it! Keep reading to read my full opinion❗

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

Synopsis: milk and honey is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. It is about the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. It is split into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose, deals with a different pain, heals a different heartache. milk and honey takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look. 🐝🍯

Personal review: I freaking loved this so much! I didn't think I was a poetry kind of girl, but oh my was I wrong! I have to be honest, I liked The Sun And Her Flowers more, but this one was still pretty awesome! It deals with serious topics, so I would not recommend if you are a very sensitive person. But if you can handle, get ready for a ride of heartbreaks, pain, healing processes, violence and a LOT MORE. Everything is written in a poetic way, which makes it even more meaningful in my opinion. Rupi Kaur isn't scared to tell the truth, and that's amazing. She uses words that other authors are afraid to use and expresses herself fully! GOSH this book was so great! 😱🙈🙌

What I liked the most about the book: I love how we really see an evolution in the character's story and life. There is a big difference between the beginning of the book and its ending. 😋

Other books by Rupi Kaur you should read: READ THE SUN AND HER FLOWERS. NOW. THANKS. 😍

A big thank you to those who take the time to read these little reviews! It really makes my day! ♡♡♡
