Turtles All The Way Down Spoiler Free Review!

Hello lovelies! 🙈 I thought I could post a review of one of my favorite reads of 2017! It’s the most recent John Green book! 💟

Rating : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Summary : Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis. Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts. ✦✧✦✧

Personal review : This. Book. THIS BOOK. I personally don’t really like John Green’s books. I’ve read TFIOS and Will Grayson, Will Grayson. I liked them, but I wasn’t like ‘’WOW EVERYBODY NEEDS TO READ THIS’’. But this book. I was actually like ‘’WOW EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS’’. This book had everything I like in a good contemporary. Lovable characters, dark subjects, and a lot more ! This book is about mystery, but mental illness takes a big part of it ! Our main character, Aza, is suffering from OCD and has trouble dealing with it. The way John Green wrote her spiral thoughts was pure perfection. I really liked the friendship and the romance ! It’s a book that made me feel understood and not alone ! Anyone with anxiety (not only OCD) will find itself in this book, and that is AMAZING. 💖

What I liked the most about this book : The way John Green describe spiral thoughts. It’s on point. 😍

Other books by John Green you should definitely read : I’m going to say Will Grayson, Will Grayson, because it’s an LGBT book and my second favorite one of John Green’s works. 🌈

Thank you for reading and I hope you decide to pick up this incredible book ! 📖
